Hey Andy,
I like the new cam. I'm sorry you missed the bigger part of the swell on Saturday (it really was f-ing great as the tide was coming in), but you may get another chance this week. It looks like something BIG is coming!

I thought The Mormon let everyone know about our Saturday morning session plans? Email me your cell number and I'll keep you posted when we head out.

I did morning and late afternoon sessions Sunday at Nahant Beach. First time surfing there, not bad, less crowded, head high sets. During the morning session, the Life Guard State in dune buggies was blowing their whistles at us for about 10 minutes. Us surfers in the water just ignored them. They eventually gave up and left:) A local surfer told me they stopped some paddle boarders from heading out, ridiculous. When I came back for the afternoon session (brought the Brother Of Stork with me) there was no sign of the Beach Authority and lots of people swimming and surfing. Guess the guards gave up on enforcing the State's swimming ban.

Sorry to hear about the short trip to Nantasket. Keep in mind that the patrolled public beach ends at the the bath house at the North end of the strip. Anything beach North of that is like the wild west if you know what I mean. I got there at 2:00 and watched the sunset from my board.

I heard about this. I had to work yesterday and couldn't get out to Nantasket until a little after five. The no swilling sign was up, but I pulled in anyway and saw surfers out by the last rest room area. The waves were a little choppy, but breaking waist to chest with the occasional head + set if you were willing to wait outside and be patient.
I surfed for about 2 hours and all in all, it was a great session. There were currents, but they were pretty easy to cut through. Heading down to Rhode Island today and maybe even another late session at Nantasket, unless someone wants to slap the cuffs on me and keep me from going out?

Best,
Jay
